About

We (Carolyn, Julia, and Anna) are three Harvard students who share an appreciation of food that borders on obsession.  The blog was originally Julia’s brainchild, who then recruited Anna and Carolyn to join her cause.  This is our effort to share our love of food with everybody!

Carolyn hails from just outside of Boston.  Her childhood hero was Martha Stewart and her first celebrity crush was Wolfgang Puck.  She watched more Food Network than any normal ten-year-old should.  Always an avid eater, she has more recently become an avid cook, and hopes to pursue this passion throughout college and beyond.

Julia, a San Francisco Bay Area resident, enjoys ambitious kitchen experiments but is less enthusiastic about cleaning up after them. At an early age, she discovered that sharing sweets led to instant popularity, and has been using baked goods to win friendship ever since. While she frequents farmers’ markets ostensibly out of love for the organic, sustainable, and locally-grown, really she’s after the free samples.

Anna pretends that she lives in Ithaca, New York, but her address exposes the lie: she actually lives in Freeville. Okay, and even though her house is technically in Freeville, she really lives in Lansing. Born into a family that “lives to eat” instead of one that “eats to live” (a favorite quote of Rhonda’s), Anna specializes in eating more than enough. Drawing inspiration from her mother’s consistently spectacular cuisine, Anna intends to become the ultimate housewife (and to save the world, obviously).
